A few honest answers
Is this a replacement for couples therapy?
No. It's a practical repair system for the ruptures that happen between sessions — or for couples who aren't in therapy but want real tools. If there's deeper relational work underneath the pattern, this can sit alongside that work, not instead of it.
Does my partner need to go through it with me?
It helps, but it's not required. Everything is built so it works even if you're the only one actively doing the practice — a lot of repair starts with one person changing how they show up.
Do I need to take Regulate & Relate first?
