Hi, I’m Dr. Rachel Greenberg

With 20 years of experience and training in psychology, I have been licensed as a psychologist since 2015 and have dedicated my career to helping individuals and couples heal and thrive. My work integrates the latest psychological research, somatic practices, and relational dynamics to guide clients on their journey of personal transformation and relationship fulfillment.

Whether you are navigating attachment wounds, seeking to deepen emotional intimacy, or transforming patterns that no longer serve you, I offer compassionate support rooted in both expertise and embodied wisdom.

My approach combines psychological expertise with somatic embodiment and relational healing to support you in reconnecting with your authentic self and creating secure, loving relationships. I believe that deep, transformative change happens when we heal at the mind, body, and spiritual levels, creating lasting shifts in how we relate to ourselves and others.

In our work together, I will guide you through:

  • Healing attachment wounds and releasing old relational patterns

  • Cultivating emotional intelligence and nervous system regulation to foster secure intimacy

  • Embodying self-trust and authentic expression in all areas of life

  • Developing tools for conscious, connected, and compassionate communication

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I meet you where you are and provide a personalized, compassionate, direct, and trauma-informed approach that is deeply tailored to your unique needs, so you can embody your truest, most confident self in your relationships and life.

Dr. Rachel Greenberg, PsyD is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Couples Therapist, and teacher with nearly two decades of academic and clinical training. She holds two master's degrees and a doctorate in clinical psychology, with rigorous training in trauma-informed care, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems, Imago Theory, Family Constellations, and depth psychology. Her work is further shaped by Intersectional Feminist Theory, Nonviolent Communication, and immersive training in Buddhist psychology through Spirit Rock Insight Meditation Center.

Rachel is the founder of The Numinous Path, a psycho-spiritual practice for whole self healing and transformation. Through her private practice, digital courses, and community programs, she works with individuals and couples navigating complex developmental trauma, protective patterns of relating, and the hunger for deeper intimacy with themselves and others.

Her approach weaves together psychology, somatics, spirituality, and relational attunement. She is trained in EFT for couples and studied with teacher John Wineland, exploring presence, polarity, and sacred intimacy. This integration of the clinical and the embodied is what defines her work: rigorous enough to create lasting change, alive enough to feel like coming home.

Rachel has been active in Bay Area sacred activism, served on the leadership team of a mindfulness sangha focused on questioning cultural conditioning, and co-chaired the Diversity Committee of The Wright Institute's Integrated Health Psychology Training Program.

She lives in the hills of Northern California, devoted to her own practice of healing and awakening connecting to land, community, and the ongoing work of authentic living.
